Sometimes, we have to let others know how we feel... or they will never know.
This is a story about a little fish who did not tell others what it wanted, only to become frustrated with how things ended. The fun and unique peek-through format of this book allows the little pond to grow and shrink as the story progresses.
As it rained, the pond grew and grew. Frogs, ducks, puppies, and many other animals arrive at the pond, which has grown really, really big. Everyone jumped in, and were having a blast.
But what of the little goldfish?
It continued to sleep; he was so sure that the other animals would invite him to play first.
He waited and waited... but no one approached him. He finally got frustrated, and yelled at the animals. Everyone apologized and left.
The pond finally become quiet, and the little fish realized how lonely he actually was, wishing that he had spoken up earlier and invited himself to join to party.
