Read by over 150,000 children, the popular Butt Detective mysteries are now available in bridge book format, designed for early independent readers in lower elementary reading levels!
Like the picture book series, these bridge books feature the same beloved Butt Detective character who uses his observation and deduction skills, and gathers clues sprinkled throughout the pages, to solve puzzles and mysteries!
Young readers will love poring over the details, while learning to solve puzzles that are written in level-appropriate language (and the assistance of zhuyin!).
This book is a "spin-off" edition, so it's a little shorter and does not include two stories that is typical of a book in the Butt Detective Reader series.

Mr. Paoduo is opening up a curry food truck. He's been buying all sorts of goods in preparation for the opening, when he came to visit the "Lucky Cat" coffee shop.
There, he suddenly realized the jar of spices that he needed to make curry (the last jar that was available) had disappeared! Mr. Paoduo was so shocked and freaked out, that he fainted from the news.
Without the spices, Mr. Paoduo wouldn't be able to make and sell his curry, and his grand opening could not possibly happen.
Without being able to ask Mr. Paoduo exactly what happened (remember, he fainted), Butt Detective tried to trace the steps of Mr. Paoduo through the receipts found on him, to see where he may have dropped the jar of spices.
On his journey, Butt Detective ran into a few of his former clients (like Lady Purple), who he was able to a collect a few more clues about the whereabouts of the jar of spices.
Can Butt Detective help Mr. Paoduo successively retrieve his jar of spices?
