Phantom Thief U is skilled crook who's a master at going undercover and disguising himself. He has his eyes on the Goat family's family treasure, and sent them a letter of challenge telling them exactly when he would be coming for it.
Since the Goat family trusts no one, not even the police, they asked their butler to secretly seek help from Butt Detective.
The Goat family lived on historic mansion perched on a cliff. In the vast luxurious residence lived only five people. Butt Detective figured, no matter how good Phantom Thief U was at disguise, he can't possibly get in undetected... right??
As they neared midnight (when Phantom Thief U said he would strike), they receive a mysterious package, followed by the strange disappearance of their butler. Then the family treasure, which only Mr Goat and his daughter knew the hidden location of, also disappeared.
