Read by over 150,000 children, the popular Butt Detective mysteries are now available in bridge book format, designed for early independent readers in lower elementary reading levels!
Like the picture book series, these bridge books feature the same beloved Butt Detective character who uses his observation and deduction skills, and gathers clues sprinkled throughout the pages, to solve puzzles and mysteries!
Young readers will love poring over the details, while learning to solve puzzles that are written in level-appropriate language (and the assistance of zhuyin!).

One afternoon, Butt Detective received a strange letter without a return address. In it, he found a note that read "202", along with a map with markings.
At first Butt Detective and his assistant thought the way "202" was written was a little odd, when they finally realized that it was actually a "mirrored" note, and it read "SOS". The marked location on map was somewhere deep in the jungle.
Butt Detective and his assistant set off on the train, followed by a ride on the ferry, until they reached some old ruins in the jungle.
According to legend, people from long long ago built the structure to protect their treasures, so it's filled with all sorts of traps. No one dares enter for this reason. So how can someone send a letter of help from in there? Who is this mysterious client? What is the meaning behind all of this?
