Gloo Books is a publishing company that makes children’s books for a more inclusive, just and compassionate future. Gloo Books was started by Karen Chan to address the lack of diversity in representation in children’s literature. But when it became clear that lack of diversity was also an issue throughout the publishing industry, she decided to create a company that championed these values through all aspects of the business. They are proudly BIPOC/woman owned and operated.
