Oh no, the 100 moons was eaten! Little Dinosaur lied to his mommy about who ate it, but it's getting harder and harder to hide as his belly grows...
Once upon a time, there were 100 moons in the sky.
Little Dinosaur who loves to eat has been sneaking in a moon every night when mommy is asleep.
When Mommy wonders, "Does it feel like the night sky is getting darker lately?"
Little Dinosaur's heart starts beating fast, but he pretends not to know anything.
After a few days, Mommy asks again, "Are you feeling ok? You look a little ill."
"No-nothing. *hiccup*" In reality though, Little Dinosaur's exploding belly is starting to really hurt.
Another few days have passed, and Mommy wonders, "Did the moons disappear?"
Again, Little Dinosaur feels the weight of lie over him. "Mommy, actually..."
How does Little Dinosaur eventually figure out how to resolve his initial lie?
A cute & funny book by winning illustrator of the 2010 International Bologna Children's Book Fair. Though a silly but relatable story, young readers learn to process their own anxieties about lying, work through consequences of said lie, and experience how it feels when the lie is resolved!
