A koala named Little Le (小樂) lives in Australia. One day, a violent fire spread rapidly, and the entire sky turned bright red.
Many koalas and kangaroo fled, and Little Le was lucky to be alive. For that, they thanked the tireless firefighters who put out the fire, and all the medical staff for taking care of them.
This is a great introduction to animals to unique to Australia, and some of the problems they face from wild fires that ravage the region. There is also a fact sheet at the back of the book that discusses the animals in more detail.
