Shaolin Chinese is written in more of a chapter book format to help budding independent readers build reading stamina and fluency. When a young reader finishes the series, they would've read a total of 155,000 characters!
The stories were developed by linguists and educators of the Sagebooks Hong Kong team. The stories are designed to be interesting and engaging, by featuring a consistent cast of personalities, and plots that weave together history, math, science and social issues!
There are total of 25 volumes in the entire series, broken down into 5 elements:
