Read by over 150,000 children, the popular Butt Detective mysteries are now available in bridge book format, designed for early independent readers in lower elementary reading levels!
Like the picture book series, these bridge books feature the same beloved Butt Detective character who uses his observation and deduction skills, and gathers clues sprinkled throughout the pages, to solve puzzles and mysteries!
Young readers will love poring over the details, while learning to solve puzzles that are written in level-appropriate language (and the assistance of zhuyin!).
Each book features two stories, and a "hidden" puzzle in the dust jacket for more deductive fun after finishing the book!
On the ground floor of Butt Detective's office building is a coffee shop called "Lucky Cat", run by a friendly father-daughter duo.
The owner's sweet potato pie is super delicious, so as long as Butt Detective isn't dealing with cases, he can be found at the coffee shop.
One day, when he was at the shop, the owner and his daughter mentioned some extremely strange thefts, where the thief appeared to be 5 metres tall!
This sets Butt Detective into motion, where he starts gathering clues from patrons around time, place and the types of items that were stolen. Through the bits and pieces of information, he starts slowly putting together who the giant might be and placed trap to catch it.
Except... why are there two sets of footprints on the ground? Is the "giant" actually a team of two people?
