STEM Jr Detective series is a fun and educational full-colour graphic novel created and produced in Hong Kong.
It features a crew of four kids—two girls and two boys— led by a science teacher "Sir STEM". Together, they go on adventures to solve mysteries using STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) principles.
With all of the volumes set in Hong Kong, young readers will not only learn about STEM topics in a fun and engaging way, the creator also deliberately uses the stories to introduce historical and cultural pieces unique to Hong Kong.
This is special short (smaller book at 48 pages compared to the usual 88-page volume) where the team of Jr Detectives explore how Earth can be destroyed at the hands of their archnemesis Ω, from incoming asteroids, to the sun burning out, to the earth finally standing still.
