This is book 1 of a 2-part series of getting to know the older shops in Hong Kong.
In addition to a fun story, each book offers three-dimensional crafts and puzzles, and also fun apps for children to learn about old traditional shops in Hong Kong.
Some of these shops include rice shops, repair shops, toy shops, pawnshops, and various offices. Each book introduces 10 traditional shops: what they sell, how they worked, and the reason why we don't see them very much any more.
