A little boy declares to his family, "I'm heading out!", and then embarks on his own little adventure in another adorable book by Gomi Taro!
The signs on the road tell which direction he needed to go. As he wanders through the streets, he notices all the interesting buildings and things around him.
There's someone drying their clothes, there's someone carrying a briefcase and appears to be in a hurry, there are farmers plowing the field, and there are workers chatting on the side.
When the bus approaches, the little boy ran towards it. Does he make it? Turn the page and find out!
This a fun book to read with a little one to practice observation skills. The amount of detail in each spread makes this a great candidate for playing search & find games as well.
Gomi Taro also illustrated it such that the roads on the previous page connect to the ones on the next, making reading this a great way for young reader's finger to physically "travel" to the end of the book!
