The best inventions are borne from imagination and problem-solving!
There once was a man named Leonardo Da Vinci. He is not only Italy's top painter, he is also a big foodie. Whether cooking or going to the bathroom, his mind is always spinning, thinking up new inventions.
Da Vinci's name spread to the palace, and one day, the Duke invited him to create the world's most special wedding venue!
Da Vinci's eye twinkled, smiled and said, "We're going to make the world's biggest cake!" He plans to make the entire wedding venue out of cake!
How can something as soft and fluffy like cake be used create a structure without it collapsing? How much flour, egg and milk will he need? How will he handle the ingredients and decorate the cake? Will Da Vinci's crazy idea really work? Will the Duke's wedding happen successfully?
This story is based loosely on an anecdote around Leonardo Da Vinci's attempt to use cakes to construct the wedding venue for the Duke of Italy.
